UCD – Women's Rugby World Cup

Showcasing UCD’s facilities while hosting the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup

The Brief

Ireland was proud hosts to the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup. Some 18 pool stage matches were being played at UCD. The university wanted to leverage this event to showcase its facilities and capability to manage events of similar sizes in the future.

The Response

We captured a range of content to highlight UCD’s facilities. Leveraging the events of the tournament, we recorded all the build-up and running of the tournament in a documentary style, highlighting their real-world capabilities. Weaving this together with additional footage of campus facilities, we were able to create a well-rounded content package for UCD.

The Outputs

We created a facilities showreel, showcasing the event and tournament volume they can easily facilitate, which they could use for selling their campus to future tournament organisers.
